Stasia Siena is one of the leading subject matter experts of the Alexander Technique (AT) for musicians and the architect of The Alphorn Project. A classically trained opera singer, Stasia has taught AT for more than twenty-five years in universities, conservatories, and master classes in the U.S. and abroad. She is on faculty at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts and has served on the music faculties of Indiana University, Millikin University, DePauw University, and the University of Illinois School of Music. Stasia trained with Joan and Alexander Murray at the Urbana Center for the Alexander Technique and was appointed Co-Director of its teacher training program in 2017. She began bringing the alphorn into her AT teaching at Cormont Horn Camp, where she has been on the faculty for the past decade. She is also a 200-hour registered yoga teacher, a certified Scolio-Pilates practitioner, and an active member of AmSAT.
